What Pumpkin is

Pumpkin is a screening aid for food labels. It summarizes assessments from public health agencies and is not medical, nutritional, or allergy advice. For allergies, always read the package.

Accuracy

Product data comes from Open Food Facts and from labels, and can be incomplete or out of date. Products change. Results are provided as they are, without guarantees.

Your use

Use Pumpkin for your own shopping. Don't misuse the service, for example by overloading it or copying its data in bulk. You're responsible for your account.

What you send

When you send a report or a label, you let us use it to improve product records.

Product data from Open Food Facts (openfoodfacts.org), available under the Open Database License; product photos under CC BY-SA.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Pumpkin isn't liable for decisions made using the app or for indirect losses.
